I think this book needs to come with a health warning it’s that hot!

I will admit that I did deliberately wait until Last Kiss came out before I read First Touch because I know how vicious Laurelin Paige’s cliffhangers can be.

This book is not a standalone and picks up right where we left our jaw hanging and chanting WTF at the end of First Touch.

Some of the bombs dropped at the end of First Touch are dealt with right away, others are left to simmer until we feel the need to throw our kindle at the nearest wall.

The book continues on with the fast pace from First Touch with more twists, turns and red herrings. We’re left guessing and wondering what on Earth is going on until the very end. Paige runs us through a whole gambit of emotions which leaves us feeling breathless both from the mystery and from some of the sex scenes. Reeve doesn’t lose his touch, ever.

I really enjoyed to getting to see more Reeve the manΒ in the second half of this duet. Whilst the dark, mysterious Reeve from First Touch was enigmatic, I found myself rooting for, understanding and loving the deeper emotive Reeve in Last Kiss.

Whether you’re already a Laurelin Paige fan or this is her first work for you, you won’t be disappointed.
