Just Friends⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

My review🖋

I forgot how hard it was to be a teenager! All the drama, heartbreaks, fights, backstabbing, tears… being 17 was hard going!

In Just friends, Monica Murphy managed successfully to take her reader back to their teen years and relived the perks of the life of a 17 years old! I have always been a big fan of the O.C, One Three Hill and my all-time favourite Gossip Girl. If you like any of those TV shows, you are going to love Just Friends.

I have never been a big fan of love triangle and always try to avoid them but Monica Murphy had me hooked from the very beginning and I could not put the book down. It caught me of guard-the story was so addictive and so intense that I am still trying to recover from it. My emotions are all over the place.
After spending the summer with her dad in Oregon, Olivia is back to California to start her senior with her two best friends Dustin and Em.

“Now I’ve seen Dustin’s junk and he’s seen my boobs and we’ve swapped spit. It’s just all so … weird”

Dustin and Olivia have hooked up a few times and it is time to face the music and “define” their relationship. One problem, Em…

Things only get even more complicated and messy with the arrival of the new hot guy Ryan.
The portrayal of the characters is so realistic and raw that it makes the story even more credible. I have to admit that I have a soft spot for Amanda and Jordan and I hope that they will get their story. I am desperately craving for the next book and I hope we won’t have to wait too long! #TeamRyan 😉
