The House Mate by Kendall Ryan- My review ✮ ✮ ✮✮

The House Mate is another hit in the Roommates series. I really enjoyed reading the story of Addison and Max.

Addison has broken up with her boyfriend and ended sleeping on her best friend sofa. One day, enough is enough and she decides to get her life back on track:
1. Find a new job
2. Find a new apartment
3. Swear off men

Max is a successful business man with no strings attached. He enjoys hanging out with his friends and sleeping with women whenever he feels like it. Commitment is not really is thing! He loved his life as a bachelor until Baby Dylan.
“It was just the idea of being tied down to the same woman day after day—well, let’s just say it didn’t hold a candle to my freedom.”
He finds himself a single dad when the mother simply drops his baby daughter, Dylan, off on his doorstep, a year later. It was instalove for Max and he became THE hot single daddy!! In a second, he changes the path of his life to be the best dad he can for his daughter.

” I was going to be a cool dad. I wanted to raise a little girl who knew how to use tools, not one who was obsessed with becoming a Disney princess. ”

He decides to hire a nanny to help him look after Dylan. When Addison turns up, he never thought for a minute that the nanny would be a young hot sexy woman. How is he going to stay away from Addison? Can he hire her and stop being attracted to her?

“She deserved my undivided attention because it was finally starting to hit me that this could actually be the real thing between us.”

The House Mate is a cute, endearing yet also steamy love story between not only a man and a woman but the growth of a family. The attraction between Addison and Max is undeniable and their love for Dylan brought them closer. I hope that we will hear from them again in a Novella because I loved the Epilogue 😉

house mate_amazonWhat’s sexier than a bad boy? A bad ass man who’s got his shit together.

Max Alexander is nearing thirty-five. He’s built a successful company, and he’s conquered the professional world, but he’s never been lucky in love. Focusing so much time on his business and raising his daughter, adulting has come at the expense of his personal life.

His social skills are shit, his patience is shot, and at times, his temper runs hot.

The last thing he has time for is the recently single, too gorgeous for her own good young woman he hires to take care of his little girl. She’s a distraction he doesn’t need, and besides, there’s no way she’d be interested. But you know what they say about assumptions?

This is book 3 in the Roommates series, but each book can be read as a complete standalone as they all feature new couples to fall in love with.
