The Wright Boss by K.A Linde- my review ♥♥♥♥

My review ♥♥♥♥

“I’m just lost, and I want you to find me.”

Wright is STILL right!! I was really excited and looking forward to this book with great anticipation , essentially after falling head over heels with Jensen in The Wright Brother.. And it didn’t disappoint me. I loved it. It made me laugh, it made me swoon. I found the story of Landon and Heidi real and captivating.

Landon decides to leave his conniving wife, after realising that she is not the right person for him and that she is only interested in his money. However, Miranda will not let him go without a fight. Landon is all alpha, dominating, powerful, controlling and possessive.

Heidi works for Wright Construction and is very passionate about her job and always gives of her best. She is a strong female character who knows exactly what and who she wants! When she bumped into Landon after having not seen him since high school, she feels attracted to him – it was obvious that there were compatible. But Heidi never did a thing about it as Landon was not only married, but also her best friend’s ex.

“I had no interest in a battered love triangle. I had no interest in fighting for someone who was unattainable. I had no interest in losing my heart to someone who could only break it.”

Fate has brought them back together at Wright construction- a newly separated Landon becomes Heidi’s boss. Big problem is Wright Construction has one rule “ you can’t mix business and pleasure”. How long will Heidi be able to fight against her feelings for Landon? Is Landon ready to commit to another relationship so soon?

“You stole my heart completely with that first kiss in the back of Flips, and I don’t even want it back.”

I have to say that even if the passion between the two characters was obvious, sometimes I was not feeling it… essentially when I was more concerned about Austin’s antics and Julia. I am glad that they are both next in the series, and I can’t wait to read their story.
The Wright Boss is told by dual point of view so it was nice to be in the heads of both characters. It was the perfect blend of humor, steam and heart with just a little bit of angst and drama. Polar opposites, Landon and Heidi were fantastically developed and also relatable in one way or another.

A new stand alone office romance from USA Today bestselling author K.A. Linde…

I’ve always had one rule:

Don’t mix business and pleasure.

But then Landon Wright comes home to his family’s construction company with a broken back and a beaten heart and ends up as my new sexy boss. As the office gets heated, I’m thinking about throwing the rulebook out the window.

If only there weren’t a million reasons this could never work.

We may have shared a single perfect kiss, but I can’t let our intense connection cloud my judgment. Not with everything I’ve worked for on the line.

Dating your boss is so very, very wrong…even if he feels so Wright.
